Pinnguaq Association

Pinnguaq ('Play' in Inuktitut, and pronounced like ‘quinoa’) is a technology non-profit supporting the development of STEAM skills and educational opportunities from coast to coast to coast—the first Canadian Arctic startup company promoting health, wellness, storytelling and growth through innovative technology, art and play alongside Indigenous, rural, remote, and underserved communities.

I provided design and illustration for print and digital materials, campaigns and programs including social media, presentations, booklets, education materials and magazine layouts, while meeting AODA accessibility standards and as part of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers. Helping build meaningful relationships with community, educators and learners while keeping visual design culturally relevant is a lifelong practice in which I’m constantly learning.
